New Delhi — Delta Digitech Private Limited and its partner Situm Technologies have completed the deployment of AR-based indoor wayfinding and navigation across Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, operated by DIAL / GMR.

The project covers the entire Terminal 3 and was delivered over six months. Its aim is simple: let passengers move through the terminal without friction, improve their experience, and help the airport run the terminal more efficiently.

The scope spans 2D and 3D indoor maps of Terminal 3, points-of-interest mapping with QR-code navigation triggers, and BLE beacon-based indoor positioning, delivered across mobile app, web and kiosk.

Passengers get turn-by-turn navigation with arrival-time estimates, augmented-reality directional guidance, multi-language and accessibility support, and point-of-interest information that the airport team updates in real time through a content management system.

Terminal 3 serves more than 40 million passengers a year. The deployment was delivered with DIAL, GMR and Hoi, and is supported and maintained by the Delta Digitech team that built it.
